It was a lovely day at sea level, not a cloud in the sky, warm and still so I thought a bike ride was the order of the day.

headed up to Pendam to find it cold, cloudy and a little damp! Started off doing the Time Trial course to see how my time compared on my new bike. There was quite a bit of standing water and the trails were slippery so it wasn't ideal conditions and I didn't go flat out either but did it in 45:42. Not the fastest (my record is 44:04) but not too bad considering the conditions. Also the course does include the leg-burner so it involves quite a bit of climbing which is probably where the time is rally lost or gained. My hardtail probably climbs a little better than my Commencal, but the Commencal is more fun on the downs!

I then did a little circuit around Llyn Blaenmelindwr.
